Logos

The first canonical gospel written is thought by most scholars to be Mark (c 65-70), which was according to the majority used as a source for the gospels of Matthew and Luke.

The Gospel of John: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
In Christology, the conception that the Christ is the Logos (λóγος, the Greek for "word", "wisdom" or "reason") has been important in establishing the doctrine of the divinity of Jesus Christ and his position as God the Son in the Trinity as set forth in the Chalcedonian Creed.

The Christian doctrine of the Trinity teaches the unity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as three persons in one Godhead.
